Matcha Protein Shake

We have a new easy recipe for you! It's not only high in proteins, it's also delicious and packed with vitamins. You can have it as breakfast, snack or as a post-workout meal. Let's see what you need and how to make it:

What you need 

  • 1 I.AM.matcha capsule
  • 300-400 ml (plant-based) milk (we prefer almond for this one)
  • 30 grams of your favorite protein powder (we used flavourless pea protein here)
  • 1 banana (you can also add a frozen banana if you like)
  • Some honey or maple syrup for some sweetness
  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon on top for some extra spice
  • A glass 
  • A blender or mixer

How to make

Start by grabbing your blender. In case you're using a mixer, add all the ingredients into a bowl. Add the banana, milk, protein and honey (or maple syrup) to your blender. Grab your I.AM.matcha capsule and peel it open. Pour the matcha powder into your blender as well. Blend your shake for about 30-50 seconds. If you're using the mixer, mix your ingredients together until a soft and creamy texture forms.

Grab your favorite smoothie glass and pour the mixture into it. Top off with some cinnamon to make it even more Instagrammable. Don't forget to tag us when you post your awesome green smoothie on your feed or story!
